Rindge, NH – Paul R. Paquette, 68, of Rindge, NH, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 14, 2026, after a long illness. He was born, December 17, 1957, in Portsmouth, NH, the son of Roland and Wanda (Zack) Paquette.
Paul grew up in NH and graduated from Pelham High School. He went on to work several jobs, working the longest and most recently at Millipore in Jaffrey, NH. While there, he met his wife Lucie who also worked there. He made many friends there as well and was part of ‘The Buzzard’s Club’ with some of the guys he worked there with.
In his free time, Paul enjoyed the outdoors and spent a lot of time hunting and fishing. He enjoyed going up to Rangeley, ME with his late brother-in-law Don Fortin to go hunting. He often spent time working in his woodshop and liked to tinker around the house.
He is survived by his wife Lucille ‘Lucie’ (Fleurant) Paquette of Rindge, NH; his brother Adam Paquette and his wife Tish of Pelham, NH and their children Adam Paquette Jr., Andrea Paquette, Mary Paquette; his sister Marie Fortin of Mason, NH and her children Danielle Aho and her husband Scott, Steve Fortin and his partner Wendy Maynard; his sister, Kathryn Paquette of Bradford, NH and her children Christian Paquette, Julie Paquette; his sister-in-law, Ella Mercier and her husband Leon of Swanzey; a close friend Owen Dailey; as well as several great nieces and nephews, many cousins, and extended family on Lucie’s side.
A special thanks to neighbors Skip and Flo Marsh, Rick Romano, Jim Dupont, for all the help they have given during this time.
Family and friends are welcomed to attend a funeral service at the Michaud Funeral Home, 32 Maple St. Wilton, NH on Saturday, September 19, 2026, at 9:30am.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you plant a tree in honor of Paul in honor of his love of the outdoors.
