United Way of Greater Nashua and the YMCA of Greater Nashua will host a free monthly community workshop designed to help residents protect themselves against online scams and cybersecurity threats.
The beginner-friendly session, “Cybersecurity & Avoiding Scams,” is part of the “Confident Online” digital literacy series supported by Comcast. Meetings take place on the fourth Tuesday of each month from 2 to 3 p.m. at the YMCA of Greater Nashua, located at 24 Stadium Drive.
Designed for all skill levels—especially older adults and beginner technology users—the workshop offers practical advice on identifying fraudulent emails, texts, phone calls, and social media messages. Participants will learn how to safeguard personal information, secure passwords, report potential fraud, and take corrective action if targeted.
