The Town of Sharon hosted its annual Bass Park Reunion Picnic on Sunday, Aug. 30, bringing community members together for an afternoon gathering at Bass Park.
Held every year on the last Sunday of August, the traditional town event invites residents to bring a lunch and connect with neighbors, friends, and local officials.
Jonathan Shomody, chair of the select board, said, “The town picnic is a chance to connect with everyone in the community.”
“Sharon’s annual reunion gives us the opportunity to emerge from our homes, to step out of our beloved woods and picnic together with neighbors and friends, both new and old,” Selectman Rich Dufresne said.
