Adam Caragher has been named as the new principal at Great Brook School, and will begin July 1.

“We’re very excited to welcome Adam to ConVal,” Superintendent Kimberly Rizzo Saunders stated. “He has diverse educational experience both inside and outside of the classroom, and we are excited for the contributions he’ll make leading the Great Brook School community.”

Caragher began his career as a sixth-grade teacher and later administrator at the ABC Academy in Malawi for three years. After returning to the United States, he served as executive director for Pathway Ministries, where he ran operations for the organization’s youth camp.

Later, Caragher served as interim principal and administrator for the Webster Baptist School in Websterville, Vt. He then went on to become a history teacher and school-to-career coordinator at Murdock Middle High School in Winchendon. He is currently principal at Merrimack Middle School.

Caragher received his bachelor’s degree in social studies and secondary education from Greenville College in Greenville, Ill. He later went on to get his master’s of education in organizational management from Endicott College.
