BUSINESS: Rindge gutter company undergoes ‘Udder’ transformation

Aho Seamless Gutters in Rindge has undergone a rebranding -- keeping the same ownership and employees, but taking on a new name, tagline and logo to become Udderly Gutters.
Owner and CEO Chester Aho started the business in 2012 as a side business when he moved to the area, but it has since become his full-time pursuit. The company repairs, cleans and installs new gutters and gutter guards across southern New Hampshire and into Massachusetts and Vermont.
Aho grew his Rindge office into 10 employees, and a year-and-a-half ago was able to purchase a new location in New London, acquiring the former Damian Petry Gutter Solutions. That grew his employee base to 24 between the two locations, with headquarters still in Rindge.
In 2024, Aho Seamless Gutters was named one of the 20 fastest-growing family companies in the state by Business NH Magazine, ranking 14th overall.
"We're at the point now that the company is bigger than me, and I want to be growing it so there's room for growth for my employees," Aho said.
Business was growing, but Aho said he wanted a more-distinct identity for the business. He often got questions about whether the business was associated with other companies run by members of the Aho family, and he was often confused with the Massachusetts company Alo Seamless Gutters. He said it was time for a brand update.
Thus, Aho Seamless Gutters has become Udderly Gutters. The website and company van now sport a new logo -- a cow surfing down a rain gutter. Even the new tagline has a cheeky bovine reference -- "sMOOth and in the groove.”
Aho said the theme is based on his background growing up on a dairy farm in Minnesota.

"It's a nod to my past," said Aho. "It's where I learned how to work hard, and work with quality and commitment, and I wanted to tie my past into it, and also make it stand out and memorable."
Along with the new name and branding, the company will also be increasing its offered warranties, to a limited lifetime waranty.
“We’re committing ourselves to a better experience for our customers,” Aho said. “As we become more well known, it’s important we’re held to a higher standard.”
The company’s number will remain the same, and while it will adopt a new website address and email, the former emails and website will continue to direct customers to the new addresses for the immediate future. For information about Udderly Gutters, visit udderlygutters.com.
