Davis helps Emmanuel win conference track title

Emmanuel College freshman Aida Davis of Peterborough, a 2024 graduate of ConVal High School, recently won the 400 meters at the Great Northeast Athletic Conference indoor track and field championship meet at the Boston University Track and Tennis Center.

Davis set a personal best kn the 400 with her time of 1:01.32. She also joined Sofia Rowen, Reilly Slusser and Caroline Carey on the 4x400 relay team that took second place, helping the Saints take the team title by six points over Johnson & Wales.

Her finishes at the conference meet earned Davis all-conference honors for both events.

At the recent New England Division III indoor championships, Davis joined Rowen, Carey and Olivia Costa to finish 11th in the 4x400 relay in a school-record time of 4:09.04
