Letter: Dangerous drivers

Matthew and Johnny Gaudreau, hockey player brothers who were riding bicycles Thursday night before their sister's wedding the next day, were killed in New Jersey by a driver who was passing a vehicle and hit their bicycles.
This Thursday, as I was driving home from work in Manchester, there was a row of vehicles in front of me near LaBelle Winery in Bedford. A man in a pickup truck pulled out of line and rode the two strips of double solid lines by the winery entrance. I thought he wanted to turn left at the bottom of the hill. A car had pulled into the left-turning exit and started to turn. The truck driver whipped his truck into the front of the line heading west. No signals at either change of his direction and just doing as he chose.
We were lucky nothing drastic happened in our line of motion. I watched this unruly driver as if I was watching a short movie. Some drivers are inconsiderate of anyone but themselves and they risk our lives. Police officers never seem to be where we need them at a given time. Drivers utilize this fact to get them somewhere without using a few more minutes travel time despite their threats to all our safety.
