On Thursday, April 18, from 2:15 to 3:15 p.m. at the James A. Tuttle Library, Antrim Eclectic Book Club readers will be discussing John Grisham’s “The Firm.”

After graduating from Harvard Law School, a young attorney discovers that his supposedly upright Memphis law firm is, in fact, operating  as a criminal enterprise. How he resolves his conflict between worldly success and personal morality forms the core of this book.

Among the questions readers may consider are what they would do in the young lawyer’s position, the moral quandries he confronts, what characters readers most identify with and what “The Firm” says about the pursuit of “The American Dream”  in the world of corporate law.
