Antrim Eclectic Book Club to discuss ‘Things Fall Apart’

On Thursday, Oct. 20, from 2:15 to 3:15 p.m. at the James A. Tuttle Library, 45 Main St. in Antrim, Antrim Eclectic Book Club readers will discuss Chinua Achebe’s “Things Fall Apart.”

Achebe’s novel was originally published n 1958. Throughout the African continent, schools have made "Things Fall Apart” a standard part of their curricula. Time magazine included the novel in its “TIME 100 Best English-language Novels from 1923 to 2005.” The novel has been translated into more than 50 languages, and is often used in literature, world history and African Studies courses across the world.
