James A. Tuttle Library, 45 Main St., will present “Neurodiversity: Challenges for School and the Broader Community” as part of its Distinguished Speaker Series Saturday, May 20, from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m.

Ken Gobbo, professor emeritus of psychology at Landmark College, will discuss what neurodiversity is and what it is not. The neurodiversity movement includes individuals on the autism spectrum or who have dyslexia, ADHD and other neurological differences and see themselves as different rather than disordered or in need of a cure. Gobbo will discuss how schools and communities can better meet the needs of members of this emerging culture.

The event is free. For information, send email to Steve Ullman at stephenhullman@gmail.com. To register, go to antrimnh.org/james-tuttle-library/pages/adult-programs-and-registration.
