Antrim In The Evening hosts Wednesday night concerts

The 29th season of Antrim In The Evening, with concerts at the Memorial Park Bandstand Wednesdays from 6 to 8 p.m., will feature will feature Amy Conley July 31. The event is Community Music and Pizza Night, with pizza by the slice from Rick and Diane’s Pizza.
Conley will perform guitar/ukelele/bass-driven music that all ages can sing and play-along with. Attendees are encouraged to bring their percussion instruments or borrow one of Conley’s. Proceeds from pizza sales support Antrim In The Evening.
On Aug. 7, Decatur Creek returns to the bandstand. Their musical influences run from traditional/roots to Americana country, singer/songwriter, folk, blues and rock. Decatur Creek features Beth Eldridge, Doug Farrell and Jack Henry, songwriters and instrumentalists on an array of instruments.
Aug. 14 will feature Off The Cuff, a semi-acoustic instrumental and vocal quartet that plays at the crossroads of American music, where bluegrass meets swing, jazz meets blues and folk, rock and country come together. Off The Cuff blends these elements with vocal harmonies and instrumental arrangements. The band features Pamela Smith on vocal, guitar and harmonica, Jonas Taub on vocal and guitar, Andy Chapman on vocal, clarinet, penny whistle and mandolin and Dan Wheeler on bass.
The season concludes Aug. 21 with a blues-and-barbecue bash featuring the music of Mississippi Skippy, aka Skip Philbrick, and his band. The Antrim Lions will provide barbecue hot dogs and hamburgers. The Antrim Lions will welcome donation of used eyeglasses.
