‘The Good Soldier’ on stage at Franklin Pierce

The award-winning theater production “Cautionary Tale: A Junk Opera” will return to Franklin Pierce University in the guise of a sequel production “The Good Soldier.”

Performed at the 2015 Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival Region I at Cape Cod Community College in January 2015, the performance received the Hilton Award for best original production.

This mysterious musical that breaks the lines of stage and reality will be reassembled in the Warehouse Theater ​on the Rindge campus. Professor Robert Lawson, the writer, composer, director, producer and musician of the production, has assembled a cast of former Cautionary players and new cast members.

Performances will be held tonight, April 7, through Saturday, at 7:30 p.m. Admission is free.
