Local hoops stars make NHBCO All-State teams, Tenters named Player of the Year

Junior center Emma Tenters of Conant was named as the New Hampshire Basketball Coaches’ Association Division III Player of the Year, highlighting a list of local players selected for All-State honors. 

Tenters led Division III in scoring at 16.6 ppg this season and was an obvious First Team All-State selection.

Also selected in Division III were two of her Oriole teammates: junior guard Brynn Rautiola (First Team, All-Defense) and senior forward Teagan Kirby (Second Team). Rautiola averaged 15.3 ppg this season and Kirby 9.7.

For the Division II girls, ConVal junior point guard Morgan Bemont was an Honorable Mention selection. 

On the boys’ side, ConVal had four Division II All-State selections: senior guard Austin Knight (Second Team), senior guard Christian Buffum (Honorable Mention), senior forward Malachi Page (Honorable Mention) and junior forward Joe Gutwein (Honorable Mention). 

Conant had two picks on the boys’ Division III teams: senior center Garrett Somero (Honorable Mention) and senior guard Malique Motuzas (All-Defense).
