New Hampshire Attorney General Gordon J. MacDonald and New Hampshire State Police Colonel Christopher Wagner announce further information regarding the body of the deceased male found off of Route 119 in Rindge on July 10, 2018.

New Hampshire’s Chief Medical Examiner, Dr. Jennie V. Duval, has determined that the deceased is Brandon Chicklis, age 20, of Westminster, Massachusetts.

Dr. Duval has also determined that the manner of death is homicide. The cause of death is being withheld pending further investigation.

On July 10, 2018, the Rindge Police Department received a report of a possible body located alongside Eastbound Route 119 in Rindge. A private citizen jogging in that area made the report to law enforcement.

The New Hampshire State Police conducted a search of the area and Mr. Chicklis’s body was located near the roadside.

The circumstances that led to Mr. Chicklis’s death are under investigation.

Investigators are seeking anyone with information on this crime, as well as anyone who may have made the following observations:

Anyone who saw Mr. Chicklis’s vehicle, a gray, 4 door Honda Civic with Massachusetts license plate “7NA 723” from June 23 through 25, 2018.
