The summer-long journey is over and the champions of Peterborough Recreation Department A- and B-League softball have been crowned.

In the B-League, the Ditch Pickles won the title for the second straight season, going undefeated in the playoffs and capping it off with a win over Agway.

In the A-League, Brady’s American Grill took home their fourth straight title. Brady’s went into Tuesday night’s championship against the Rebels with no playoff losses in the double-elimination format, meaning the Rebels would have to win twice to get the title. Brady’s went down in the first game, but got their revenge and knocked off the Rebels in the nightcap.
