The Dublin Community Center hosted Donna and Daryl Waterson of Amazing Grace Animal Sanctuary and Buddy the Goat, their traveling mascot, on Saturday for a Christmas tree donation drive. Members of the public were invited to bring discarded Christmas trees to donate to rescued farm animals at Amazing Grace. 

Trees were also delivered by Peterborough’s Boy Scout Troop 8, who made house calls assisting area residents in disposing of trees. The DubHub served hot coffee cocoa and doughnuts to residents. The Watersons said Christmas trees are “like candy” for their farm animals, and are a favorite healthy treat for  the sanctuary’s goats, pigs and alpacas.
