No students were hurt after a school bus collided with the back of a pickup truck on Route 119 in Rindge on Monday morning, though the driver of the truck was sent to the hospital for an evaluation.

The school bus, operated by Christine Deprofio, 29, of Rindge, was traveling east on Route 119 around 7:49 a.m. when it struck the back of a 2009 Dodge 1500, driven by Roland Vaillancourt, 80, of Rindge.

None of the four juveniles in the bus or the driver was injured. Vaillancourt was taken to Monadnock Community Hospital for an evaluation.

Police said solar glare was a factor in the crash.

The pickup truck was towed from the scene after sustaining moderate damage. The bus was driven from the scene after sustaining minor front end damage.
