Car shows in Jaffrey and Greenville this weekend

Residents are invited to car shows in Greenville and Jaffrey Sunday.

Continuing its 150th anniversary celebrations, Greenville is hosting a classic car show on Main Street Sunday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. There is no entry fee.

In addition to the cars on display, there will also be breakfast sandwiches and burger and hot dog lunches. The show is sponsored by the 150th Celebration Committee. For  information, contact Moe Desrosier at 603-878-3009.

John Humiston American Legion Post No. 11 in Jaffrey is hosting its seventh annual car show Sunday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The show is at the Legion, located at 20 Webster St. in Jaffrey.

For those who wish to show a car, there is a $20 fee to register ahead of time by contacting americanlegionpost11@yahoo.com, or a $25 fee for those who register on Sunday. There is a $10 entry fee to the show.

Trophies are awarded for a total of 11 classes. In addition to the car show, there will also be a barbeque raffles, and music by DJ Mattie Jaye and CJ the DJ.
