The Dublin Community Center (DubHub), 1123 Main St., Dublin, will host an art show reception on Friday, April 11, from 5 to 7 p.m., featuring the work of Joe Caracappa, a self-taught artist from Peterborough.

Caracappa’s work is of a figurative abstract style, using layered oil paint in swirls and curves to create colorful, expressive images. His subjects often include groups of people in intricate abstract clothing and vivid, swirling landscapes. He is active in the Monadnock art community and has served as board chair of Monadnock Art and currently serves on the board of MAXT Makerspace.

The exhibit will remain on display and available for purchase through Wednesday, May 7, during DubHub open hours or by appointment. For information or to schedule a visit, send email to info@dublincommunitycenter.org.
