Cathedral of the Pines named top “underrated attraction”

Rindge’s Cathedral of the Pines has been named one of the nation’s top 50 underrated attractions by Good Housekeeping. 

Cathedral of the Pines is a nationally recognized memorial to honor all Americans who serve the nation in search of peace. The non-profit organization is open to the public as a location to appreciate spirit, culture, and environment. 

The list considered the Cathedral of the Pines the most underrated attraction in the state, as each of the 50- states was given one entry on the list. 

Cathedral of the Pines was founded in 1945 by Sibyl and Douglas Sloane. 

The Women’s Memorial Bell Tower, located on premises, is believed to be the first monument in the United States devoted specifically to women in service.
