Charles Coe to speak at Hancock Town Library

Poet Charles Coe will give a reading at the Hancock Town Library, 25 Main St., on Thursday, Oct. 10, at 7 p.m.

Coe, a Boston-based poet, essayist and educator, will present selections from his new book, “Charles Coe: New and Selected Work.” The collection includes both previously published poems and new material.

Coe's work often explores themes of social justice, race and shared humanity, and he is a prominent figure in Boston’s arts and literary scene.

The event is free and open to the public. Copies of Coe’s book will be available for purchase. For information, contact the library at 603-525-4411.
