Harrisville artist Amy Stodola will present a workshop on making torn paper collages Saturday, Nov. 4, from 10 a.m. to noon at Hancock Town Library, 25 Main St.

Participants will learn a technique for creating art pieces from available materials, including colorful pieces of paper torn from magazines. Stodola has been doing arts and crafts for as long as she can remember, including watercolor and oil painting and fabric arts. She got hooked on doing torn paper collage during the pandemic.

All materials will be provided, but people should bring a magazine or two to use as well. Space will be limited to 12 people, so register in advance to reserve a spot by calling 603-525-4411 or sending an email to the library at hancocklibrary@comcast.net with “collage” in the subject line.
