Community Volunteer Transportation Company (CVTC) will hold dinner fundraisers at The Grove restaurant at the Woodbound Inn in Rindge from 5 tp 9 p.m. Wednesday, April 27, and Wednesday, May 4.
The Grove will offer a different buffet dinner each Wednesday to benefit CVTC. The cost is $16 per person, and $3 from each plate is donated to CVTC. Reservations are not needed but are encouraged by calling 603-532-9505.
CVTC is a nonprofit organization addressing unmet transportation needs in the Monadnock Region through a volunteer driver program and contracting with van providers who can serve people with disabilities. CVTC coordinates free transportation for people who do not have access to transportation because of age, ability, economic situation or other limiting circumstances. Trip purposes include non-emergency medical and social service appointments, as well as trips to the bank, grocery store, food pantry, farmers’ market and pharmacy visits.
CVTC serves the residents of 34 towns in the Eastern Monadnock Region, which includes all of Cheshire County and 11 Hillsborough County towns. Volunteer drivers are needed in all service area towns.
