After a furious final few days of the field hockey season, the dust has settled and all three local teams have made the Division III playoffs.

Mascenic beat Monadnock 3-0 and was shut out by Kearsarge 3-0 before hosting ConVal on Saturday to conclude the season.

The Vikings and Cougars were tied at the half, 0-0, but Alannah Johnson, Sydney Bane and Bella Knisley all scored for Mascenic in the second half and they pulled off a 3-0 win.

The Vikings finished at 7-7 and earned the 11th seed in DIII. They’ll play at No. 6 Gilford (9-5) Tuesday at 3 p.m.

ConVal had already punched their ticket to the postseason when they won a hard-fought game with Conant on Friday afternoon.

Senior captain Dee Kashulines had a hat-trick and Jacqueline Madeja scored another as ConVal won in the last 11 seconds of the game.

Elizabeth Gonyea scored twice for Conant, one unassisted and another on an assist from Katie Marsh. Teagan Kirby scored another unassisted.

ConVal (5-8-1) finishes as the 13th seed and will play at No. 4 Newfound (11-2-1) Tuesday at 4 p.m.

Despite the loss, Conant (5-9) ekes into the playoffs as the 14th and final seed, and will play at No. 3 Bishop Brady Tuesday at 3 p.m. The Orioles played Brady tight earlier in the season, losing 5-3.

This is the first postseason appearance for Conant since 2013.
