TEMPLE The Root Café hosting Electric Earth concert

Electric Earth Concerts presents a free concert at The Root Café Thursday, Aug. 11, at 7 p.m. 

“Pastoral Music for Late Summer” will include music by Claude Debussy, Jacques Ibert and Carl Nielsen, featuring Laura Gilbert on flute, Jonathan Bagg on viola and Stacey Shames on harp. The program includes Ibert’s “Deux Interludes,” Nielsen’s “Childhood Suite from ‘The Mother’” and Debussy’s sonata for flute, viola and harp.

The concert will be followed by a reception for the musicians and the audience. The Root Café is at 93 Route 101 in Temple.

This concert is supported by a grant from the New Hampshire State Council on the Arts.
