Death Cafe Monadnock will meet Sunday, Feb. 5, from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Riverstone Studio, 374 Union St. in Peterborough

Death cafes are agenda-free, group-led discussions intended to center on the topics of death and dying in a welcoming and open way. A baked treat will be available to share, and participants should feel free to bring a comforting beverage for themselves. There will be cushions to sit on and a few folding chairs, but if people have chairs they would prefer to sit on, they can bring them.

The event is free. In respect of all those who come, the door will close by 11:10 a.m. For information, send email to or visit
