Community Volunteer Transportation Company (CVTC) and The Grove restaurant at the Woodbound Inn in Rindge are teaming up to raise awareness of CVTC’s Volunteer Driver Program through restaurant’s Dining Out for Charity initiative.

The Grove will offer a special buffet dinner Wednesday, April 27, and Wednesday, May 4, from 5 to 9 p.m. The cost is $16 per person, and $3 will be donated to CVTC. There will be a different buffet dinner each Wednesday, and people can learn more about how CVTC serves the Monadnock Region through its Volunteer Driver Program. Reservations are not needed but are encouraged. For reservations, call 603-532-9505.

CVTC provides free transportation for residents of 34 towns in the Monadnock Region who do not have access to transportation because of age, ability, economic situation or other limiting circumstances. Rides are provided by volunteer drivers and accessible chair-van providers to non-emergency medical and social service appointments and trips to the bank, grocery store, food pantry, farmers market and pharmacy.

Volunteer drivers are always needed. Call 877-428-2882, Ext. 5, to get a ride or give a ride. Learn more at the CVTC website or like Community Volunteer Transportation Company on Facebook.
