A Keene man crashed in Jaffrey while choking on a burger on Sunday, according to police.
Police responded to the area of 373 Mountain Road at about 9:20 p.m., on Sunday, according to police reports. A 2002 Honda Civic, driven by Kevin Damon, 52, of Keene left the road and crashed into some trees, causing Damon to strike his head on the windshield.
When police arrived, Damon told them he had been driving westbound when he began to choke on a burger, which caused him to pass out.ย
Police noted there was evidence of the meal all over Damonโs car, and he showed no sign of impairment.
Damon did not have any visible injuries, but was taken by ambulance to Monadnock Community Hospital for evaluation. His vehicle sustained moderate front-end damage and was towed from the scene.ย
