Man found dead in Dublin Lake identified

The man whose body was found in Dublin Lake Friday has been identified as 51-year-old Timothy Aeschliman of Fitchburg, Mass.
According to a release from Dublin Police Department, a couple who were paddle boarding found a man in his 50s unresponsive in the water. First-responders removed the man from the water and determined that he had died
Police stated that Aeschliman was wearing a wetsuit and swimming cap, and that his vehicle and sneakers were near the shore several hundred feet west of where he was found.
Although police state Aeschliman’s death appears to be an accidental drowning, the cause is still under investigation by the Dublin Police Department, New Hampshire Marine Patrol and the Office of the Medical Examiner.
Police were assisted on the scene by the Dublin Fire Department, Peterborough Fire Department, and New Hampshire State Police.
