The Dublin Community Center celebrated all types of moms on Saturday with a fancy tea party at the DubHub.
In a follow up to a tradition begun last year, the DCC hosted a tea, along with fancy cups and teapots, and a variety of desserts and finger foods.
Some attended with daughters or granddaughters, and others with friends.
The friend group of Pat Martin, Linda Dodge and Pam Shuel-Sargent were among those who attended together.
“We came last year, too,” said Shuel-Sargent.
“How often do you get a chance to wear white gloves anymore?” asked Martin.
Among the guests were Felicity Pool of Dublin and Donn Brous of Peterborough, who took the tea time to rekindle an old friendship.
The two were friends when they were four years old and attended the same kindergarten class, but had not seen each other in years before meeting by chance on Saturday morning. The two agreed to attend the tea party together to catch up.
