Dublin Community Center, 1123 Main St. will host its monthly coffee house and open mic night Saturday, , Aug. 19, from 7 to 10 p.m.

A sponsor provides the coffee, and sweet and savory snacks are available. Attendees are welcome to bring their own beverages. A featured performance will take place for about 45 to 60 minutes, with open mic slots available prior.

This month's feature, Mulligan Row, began as a trio in 2017 when three musical friends met through the local music scene and began playing together: Wayne Imon from Richmond, Dominick Tralli from Keene and Ruth Thompson from Dublin. After playing covers for a short time, they began writing their own music. Now, with a collaboration of writing together and individually, they have over 30 original songs.

They each play several instruments, including guitar, bass, slide electric, ukulele, mandolin and harmonica. Their music covers genres from folk to jive to pop. In the summer of 2020, Mulligan Row took third place in “Keene’s Got Talent” with an original song video performance. They recently performed at Elevate the Arts in Downtown Keene and perform at local open mics.

A $5 donation to the DubHub if possible is requested, and organizers will pass the hat for any contributions to the feature. Send email to info@dublincommunitycenter.org to reserve a spot for the open mic.
