The Dublin Community Center, 1123 Main St., will host a combined coffee house and open mic from 7 to 10 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 16.
In Focus Coffee Roasters will provide the coffee. Attendees are also invited to bring their own drinks. A featured performance takes place for about 45 to 60 minutes, with open mic slots available prior.
This month, the DubHub is featuring Green Heron, with Betsy Heron on fiddle, banjo and vocals and Scott Heron on guitar, banjo and vocals. Green Heron has been featured in a variety of publications and have made appearances on several television and radio stations, including WMUR's “New Hampshire Chronicle” as well as NHPR's “All Things Considered” and “The Folk Show.” In 2022, they were nominated for Best Roots Act for the New England Music Awards.
Send email to info@dublincommunitycenter.org to reserve a spot on the open mic, or just show up that evening to seek an available spot on the list. There will be a $5 suggested donation at the door to offset costs, and a hat will be passed for contributions going toward the featured performers.
