Jaffrey Woman’s Club sets Earth Day celebration

The Jaffrey Woman’s Club will hold an Earth Day celebration on Saturday, April 19, from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Cutler Memorial Building, 33 Main St., Jaffrey. The event is free and open to the public.

Activities include a falconry demonstration by Monadnock Falconry, making an “ocean in a bottle” to learn about ocean ecology, and assembling Mason jar terrariums to take home. A trivia treasure hunt, composting tips and independent or take-home activities such as coloring and crossword puzzles will also be available.
