The latest in the Monadnock Ledger-Transcript’s digital offerings is an updated free app available for download on Apple and Android devices. For more than a decade, many readers have been using the previous version of the app to read or listen to a digital replica of the print newspaper, the e-edition.

Now, thanks to an upgrade that was released last week, breaking stories and our latest news are also available on the app. This means you can switch back and forth between the latest news on our website and e-edition issues of the newspaper on your smartphone or tablet. You can customize your news feed on the app and receive notifications about current events in the Monadnock region.

And more is on the way. Soon we’ll introduce daily puzzles to the app, including crosswords and word searches, along with online chess that you can play on your desktop computer, tablet or smartphone. You’ll even be able to track your score and compete against other users.

Have you been to our website, ledgertranscript.com, lately? It also recently got a fresh new look. New stories are posted daily, and in addition to the latest news around the Monadnock region, the website lists the most-read stories of the past 24 hours. Editors Picks shows stories you might have missed or may even want to read again.

We also offer a growing number of free newsletters and hope you’ll sign up today at ledgertranscript.com or nnedigital.activehosted.com/f/27. You can see the latest headlines Monday through Friday by signing up for Headline Alerts newsletters, which will come in an email each evening.

For news on housing, our Real Estate newsletter is emailed Thursday mornings. On Fridays, our MLT North newsletter focuses on the towns of Antrim, Bennington, Francestown, Greenfield and Hancock, plus ConVal. The MLT South newsletter provides the latest headlines from Jaffrey, Rindge, New Ipswich, Greenville and Mason.

All print subscribers get full access to our website. To register your account, go to tinyurl.com/56dv2kaj. And of course, we’d love everyone in the region to subscribe and enjoy full access to our work. For digital or full-access print subscriptions, go to ledgertranscript.com and click on the bright yellow “Subscribe.”

We hope you wil l take advantage of these features. We appreciate your support.
