Peterborough First Friday is May 2

The merchants of Depot Square and downtown Peterborough will host a First Friday event Friday, May 2, from 5 to 7 p.m. and later.

Shops, galleries and restaurants will offer special activities, promotions and refreshments. Highlights include art displays at Peterborough Art Academy, tarot readings at Gaia’s Blessing, an art jam at MAXTMakerspace, and special wine flights at diVINE on Main. New businesses like Moon Glow Esthetics and Nidu Studio + Tribals Rugs by Hand will also participate.

MacDowell Downtown will present interdisciplinary artist Marcus Fischer at Bass Hall at the Monadnock Center for History and Culture. Doors open at 7 p.m., with the program from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. Registration is requested at macdowell.org/events.

Food and drink will be available.
