Families are invited to join the Flying Gravity Circus for its annual “Starburst Spectacle,” an event featuring performances by professional circus artists, special guests and students.

The show will take place on Saturday, Dec. 28, at the Pine Hill at High Mowing School, 77 Pine Hill Road, Wilton. A silent auction begins at 4 p.m., followed by the performance at 4:30 p.m. The snow date is Sunday, Dec. 29.

The Red Trouser Show, starring David Graham and Tobin Renwick, features circus stunts, precision acrobatics, comedy, juggling and magic. Childhood neighbors from New Hampshire, Graham and Renwick are founding members of Flying Gravity Circus and toured internationally with Circus Smirkus before creating their own show in 2006.

Jackie Davis, Flying Gravity Circus founder, mime, and author of “DIY Circus Lab for Kids,” will perform dance and mime. Colin Campbell, a one-man comedy circus act who has performed in over 50 cities and eight countries, will showcase juggling, unicycle tricks and bagpipes.

Ariele Ebacher, a 24-year circus professional, will perform tight-wire acts. Ellie Davis will bring clowning to the stage, while Book Kennison will demonstrate juggling. Madison Ward, a graduate of the National Circus School of Montreal, will perform aerial rope, and Eva Lou Rhinelander will present hula hoops and contortion.

High Mowing School circus studies students and Flying Gravity Circus youth troupers will join the finale in a display of human pyramids.

Proceeds benefit Flying Gravity Circus, a Wilton-based nonprofit promoting youth development through circus arts. Tickets are $30 for adults, $20 for children 12 and under and $50 for VIP seating. Tickets can be purchased at flyinggravitycircus.org.
