On Sunday Aug. 20, from 10:30 a.m. to 6 p.m., Fred Simmons and Leslie Vogel will be opening their grounds for their 12th annual Folksoul Music Festival.

Featuring local acoustic music bands, homemade chili and treats, the festival will take place on the outdoor stage in the meadow at 8 Driscoll Road. Lunatic Fringe, Long Journey, Mooncoin, Tattoo, Low Lily, Tara Greenblatt Band and The Folksoul Band will perform.

Attendees can bring a lawn chair or blanket and a picnic. Spectators are asked to park on one side of Mountain Road, and no dogs except service dogs are allowed.
