Friendly Meals served Wednesdays in Jaffrey

The Friendly Meals in Jaffrey will be open for older adults in June at the United Church of Jaffrey Parish Hall, 54 Main St., Wednesdays at 11:30 a.m.

Menus in June will be roast pork loin with applesauce, mashed potatoes and green beans June 7, meatloaf with gravy with mashed potatoes and mixed vegetables June 14, spaghetti and meatballs with sauce and parmesan cheese and broccoli florets June 21 and roast beef au jus with cheddar mashed potatoes and green beans with pimentos June 28.

All meals will include milk, bread or roll and dessert.

There is no charge for the lunches, but a donation of $5 is requested. All adults age 60 and over are welcome to attend from any area town. Reservations are needed by noon the Monday prior to the lunch by calling Kathleen at 603-242-7986.

Friendly Meals is a service of Home Healthcare, Hospice and Community Services (HCS), serving southwestern New Hampshire communities.
