Greenville writer Denise Ginzler will be at Chamberlin Free Public Library, 46 Main St. in Greenville, Wednesday, Sept. 20, at 7 p.m. for a reading and signing of her new book of poems, “One Ripple.”

Ginzler is a retired librarian who has been reading and writing all her life. She has worked as a math teacher, computer programmer and a kindergarten teacher. Since retiring from the library in Mason, she enjoys talking about books in two discussion groups.

She loves swimming in lakes, in the ocean and walking among trees. The house where she and her husband have lived and raised their daughter since 1984 is part of a community land trust, with 100 acres of protected woodland. She belongs to a Quaker meeting and to several groups working to promote community and peace. A few of her poems have been published previously, but this is her first book.

Copies of her book will be available at the reading.

Contact Chamberlin Free Public Library at 603-878-1105 or chamberlinlibrary.org.
