Grand Monadnock Youth Choirs is accepting registration for the spring performance season.

Fourth- through eighth-graders should register by Jan. 31 for Elm City Singers or Choristers. Children in kindergarten through third grade can register for Rise Up Keene by Jan. 24 and Rise Up Peterborough by Jan. 28.

GMYC offers age-appropriate music education through literacy training and by offering cultural exchange opportunities centered in singing choral music. This March, Choristers and Elm City Singers will perform in a choral exchange with the Einbeck, Germany, choir and the Keene State College choirs. GMYC will perform independently both in German and in English, and then perform all together with the other choirs.

Winter session Rise Up singers will learn songs about winter and early spring, play singing games and expand their musical understanding through rhythmic and melodic games, instruments and movement.
