On April 5, Great Brook School students Malakai Cheever, Jet Pils-Martin, Ben Ferrisi, Milo Ferrisi, Ian Wood, Kat Vedder, Ashlynn Bailey, Archer Omler, Ethan Marks, Cam Hackett, Chasith Gamage and Emmet Kimball participated in the Therapeutic and Applied Geek and Gaming Summit as panelists.

TAGGS is an international four day online professional conference for helping professionals who use geek and gaming media and culture in their work.

The students are fifth- through eighth-graders who are the student Dungeon Masters for the GBS Dungeons & Dragons Club, called Heroes' Hall. Heroes' Hall is a student Dungeons & Dragons group of more than 45 students that meets weekly after school to make friends, tell stories, use their imaginations and slay dragons together.

The club is entirely student-run, and the student Dungeon Masters were invited to participate in TAGGS to explain to professional teachers, therapists, researchers and game designers what makes the experience fun for youths. Their 90-minute panel was a mix of a formal presentation and slide show, discussion and question-and-answer session for adult professionals in the field.
