The Mariposa Museum, 26 Main St., Peterborough, will host a Great Decisions program Thursday, May 1, at 7 p.m. on "India: Between China, the West, and the Global South."

Part of a world affairs series from the non-partisan Foreign Policy Association, the session will include a video and a discussion moderated by Robert Beck, a retired foreign policy official, and Peter Henriques, a retired international business executive, both of Peterborough. The program will consider how India's emerging role may influence the dynamics between the United States and China.

An article by Leslie Vinjamuri, professor of international relations at the School of Oriental and African Studies in London, was published in the 2025 Great Decisions study guide. Copies are available at the Mariposa Museum and Peterborough Town Library, or can be ordered at fpa.org/great_decisions or by calling 800-477-5836.

Admission is free, but registration is requested at mariposamuseum.org or by calling 603-924-4555.
