Marshal Buttrick to talk about Greenville’s oldest houses

Marshall Buttrick of the Greenville Historical Society will present a program highlighting some of the oldest houses in our town Monday, Feb. 27, at 7 p.m. at Chamberlin Free Public Library, 46 Main St. in Greenville. 

He has selected 10 homes and will speak on the history of each and display historical and modern photos. There will be a segment of the program for questions, along with a demonstration of some of the techniques used in the digital preservation, image processing and storage of old photographs.
