Bickford retains her Select Board seat in Greenville

Incumbent Maggie Bickford has held her seat on the Greenville Select Board, fending off challenger Bob McCreery by less than ten votes.

Bickford has held a seat on the Select Board for the past year, finishing the term of Selectman Scott Tenney.

Bickford gained a total of 96 voters, while McCreery had 88.

There were no other contested races on the ballot this year in Greenville.

Stephanie Cassidy was elected as Library Trustee with 171 votes.

Edward White was elected as Fire Ward with 148 votes.

Janice Hartley was elected as Cemetery Trustee with 171 votes.

Elaine Bourgault was elected as Supervisor of the Checklist with 187 votes.

There was no candidates filed for the position of town treasurer or a three-year seat as Trustee of the Trust Funds.

Voting will continue at Town Meeting on Saturday at 9 a.m. at the Mascenic Education Center, located at the former elementary school on Adams Street.
