Gronk the Married Pig coming to DubHub

Published: 02-07-2023 3:05 PM

On Saturday, Feb. 11, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., people can come to the Dublin Community Center, 1123 Main St., to meet Gronk the Married Pig from Amazing Grace Animal Sanctuary and hear a story about how he met and married the love of his life, Henrietta Pig.

There will also be an opportunity to make and take Valentines, with arts and crafts supplies provided, and sample Valentine templates created by area artists on display to provide inspiration.

Story hour with Gronk will take place at 10 a.m., and he will stay to visit people and perhaps tell his story again throughout the morning, and possibly into the afternoon. The Valentine make-and-take playshop will be set up for people to drop in and create Valentines any time between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.

Books about Gronk and Henrietta will be available for purchase, as well as stuffed animal pigs. People will also be invited to leave some Valentines behind, which will be sent to veterans or local nursing home residents. The public is invited.
