Hancock Old Home Days will take place on Hancock Town Common, 50 Main St., Friday, Aug. 18, from 5 to 7 p.m. and Saturday, Aug. 19, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Friday is the weekend kickoff, featuring an ice cream social, food trucks and concert with Russell Novotny and his band. Saturday features a whole day of activities, including the Run for the Honey, a parade with a theme of “Hancock Rocks!” more than 20 arts and crafts vendors, a book sale, an art show and children’s activities.
