As part of its Old Home Days celebration, Hancock hosted the Betty Pels Run for the Honey Saturday, a 5K road race and Fun Run for children. The race is named in honor of Betty Pels, who directed the race for many years along with her family.

The top 20 finishers, out of the 120 who took part, are as follows:

1. Oliver Ellerkamp, Peterborough: 17 minutes, 59 seconds.

2. Oliver Wilson, Dublin: 18:06.

3. Vincent Lyon, Dover: 18:17.

4. Reuben Lyons, Peterborough: 18:36.

5. Andrew Russell, Wakefield, Mass.: 19:09.

6. Jed Bentley, Sawnzey: 19:52.
