The Friends of the Hancock Town Library will host a silent auction of artwork Dec. 2 to 16 at the library, 25 Main St.

There will be an opening reception in the Daniels Room on Saturday, Dec. 2, from 2 to 4 p.m. The auction will include paintings, prints, photography. All proceeds will benefit the Friends of Hancock Library. Bidding will start at the opening reception. Everyone is welcome to view the art, have refreshments, meet the artists, make a bid and celebrate the start of the holiday season.

Bidding will end on Dec. 16, and winners will be announced.

Exhibits can be viewed in the Daniels Room during regular library hours of 2 to 6 p.m. Monday and Wednesday, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday. Call the library at 603-525-4411 before visi to ensure no special events are scheduled at that time.
