Hancock Woman’s Club offers scholarships

The Hancock Woman’s Club, is offering scholarship assistance to adult women who have been residents of Hancock for at least two years.

The scholarships are to help adult women begin, change or return to their careers after time spent family-rearing or other responsibilities. Applicants must provide official confirmation of acceptance to or enrollment in an accredited school such as a college, university, technical or training school. Applicants must complete and submit the formal application by April 5.

Funds for the scholarships have been provided by gifts from an anonymous donor who funded the original program, a donation celebrating the life of Caitlin Mullin and another significant anonymous gift.
