Two vehicle crash in Hancock sends one to hospital

A Hancock man was sent to the hospital after his car collided with a truck on Bennington Road in Hancock early Tuesday afternoon.

Police were summoned to the intersection of Bennington Road and Elmwood at 12:55 p.m. after a Hancock man in a 2019 Toyota Camry failed to see a 2012 Ford F550 truck driven by an Antrim man while crossing from North Street to Elmwood Road, according to Hancock Police Chief Tom Horne, who declined to provide the names of the drivers.

The truck collided with the driver’s side of the Toyota, Horne said. Both vehicles had to be towed from the scene. The truck driver was uninjured, while the Toyota driver went to Monadnock Community Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, he said.
